Un simple calcul est troublant : le ministère estime qu' il passera 68 000 véhiculespar jour sur la 25 en 2011...Multipliez par 5 ans , par 365 jours, par $2.40 (en supposant que cela n'augmentera pas), cela donne $297 millions de revenus sur 5 ans.
L'économie de 226 millions sur 35 ans semble donc bien dérisoire, puisqu' elle serait épongée en 5 ans , si le gouvernement opérait lui- même le péage.
D'autant plus inquiétant est le fait que le gouvernement récupérera l'ouvrage dans 35 ans , au bout de sa vie utile: on pellete par en avant !
Ce que cela démontre tristement, c'est que le gouvernement a démissionné: incapable de gérer de façon saine et rigoureuse un projet profitable, il passe le relais au privé.
